Just got back from LA, May 2004.  Would have been almost criminal not to have looked for Blue Jay Way....so I did.  No wonder Georgies mates got lost....especially in the fog.... it was a sod to find!

No news of any HG gigs at the moment.

Haré Georgeson will be performing at this years  "Live Peace in Chavasse Park" as part of the Mathew Street Festival in Liverpool (23rd August) The band will re-create the Concert for Bangla Desh with a little help from Shalil Shankar (sitar) and Mohinder Singh (tabla).  Bob Dylan will be portrayed by the awesome voice of Mick Crimmins .

As well as performing in Haré Georgeson, Paul & Paula have appeared in several movies made in Liverpool, including 51st State with Samuel L. Jackson.  Here they are pictured with Steve Coogan in "The Parole Officer".   Click image for a larger view.

In July, Rick was filmed as George for the BBC's forthcoming satire "Jeffrey Archer - The Truth". The film which stars Damian Lewis & Greta Scaachi, was written and directed by "Drop The Dead Donkey" creator, Guy Jenkin and is to be screened Sunday, 1st December 2002.

Pontins Beatle Weekend
was kinda what we expected it would be.  I think maybe a good proportion of the audience were less than familiar with some of the material.  "Here Comes The Sun" went well though! lol.

came in to replace Mike Neary on keyboards and did a fine job in a short space of time.

Mike Neary is currently in Pembrokeshire in a production of "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest", at the Torch Theatre, Milton Haven, so good luck to him with that.
